Meet Kayla
Founder • Certified Pilates Instructor

Kayla grew up in Houston, TX and earned her degree in Sports Conditioning from Texas A&M University before continuing her education as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). During her clinical work, she treated patients recovering from spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and a wide range of neurological and orthopedic conditions. It was here that she witnessed firsthand how transformative Pilates could be in rehabilitation—sparking her pursuit of her STOTT Pilates® Instructor Certification and Lab Certification.

Movement has always been part of Kayla’s life. She danced professionally with Ad Deum Contemporary Dance Company and spent more than a decade teaching competitive dance. At Texas A&M, she was also a member of the Triathlon Team and competed in the USAT Collegiate National Championship, giving her a deep understanding of athletic performance and injury prevention.

Kayla later brought her expertise to Nashville, TN, where she managed a thriving Pilates studio and mentored new instructors. Her work extended beyond the studio as she trained members of the Nashville professional soccer community and several country music artists and influencers—helping high-level performers build strength, balance, and longevity in their bodies.

After becoming a mother herself, Kayla developed an even deeper appreciation for the importance of postpartum recovery, core restoration, and sustainable strength for women at every stage of motherhood. This personal experience further shaped her teaching philosophy and expanded her passion for supporting women through pregnancy, birth recovery, and beyond.

Now, Kayla has recently returned home to Texas and is thrilled to bring her experience to the Richmond community as the founder of her new Pilates studio. Her mission is simple: to create a welcoming, empowering space where clients of all ages and abilities can move better, feel stronger, and thrive.

At her studio, clients can expect:

  • Science-backed Pilates instruction rooted in anatomy, athletic conditioning, and rehabilitation

  • Personalized Instruction that meets each client exactly where they are

  • A warm, supportive environment designed to make everyone feel confident and successful

  • Programming for every body—from beginners and busy parents to athletes, dancers, and those recovering from injury

When she’s not in the studio, Kayla loves exploring the outdoors and spending time with her family.
